On January 26, 2018 in Astana there was held the familiarizing conference "Spirit of the XIX CPC National Congress". At the conference there were presented the results of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China which was held in October 2017.
On January 24th, 2018 the Kazakhstan Institute of Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KAZISS) held a presentation of the monograph of the famous scientist-economist, chief research fellow of KAZISS Vyacheslav Y. Dodonov "Financial factors of the transformation of Japan's economic growth".
On January 18, 2018, the Presidential Communications Service held a press conference on "Strategic Objectives of the 2018 Annual Address of the President of Kazakhstan" organized by the Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan (KAZISS) that was attended by leading KAZISS experts as well as other prominent experts and political scientists, economists, sociologists and the representatives of the media.
A round table "New Quality of Human Capital" was held on January 10, 2018 in Almaty on the book of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev "Era of Independence", organized by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, and the Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan.
