On February 23, 2022, an expert discussion on the topic "New Kazakhstan: content and meanings" was held at the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was opened by the Director of KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkin Tukumov. The expert discussion was another event in the cycle of discussions initiated by the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the content and forms of the ideologeme "New Kazakhstan".

The event was attended by representatives of the national intelligentsia, scientists, political scientists, cultural figures and youth representatives.

The first part of the discussion was attended by the Director of the Institute of State History Yerkin Abil, Vice-Rector of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov Dikhan Kamzabek, Professor of the Department of Philosophy of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov Kultai Medeuova, Professor of Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, Vladimir Baturin, as well as representatives of other organizations.

The second part of the discussion was attended by Zhaksylyk Sabitov, Leading Researcher at the Institute of State History, Aizhan Temerbaeva, Vice-Rector of Karaganda Technical University, Sagynysh Akhantaeva, Head of the Analysis and Communications Department of the Youth Research Center, Almas Zhunisbay, Researcher at the Eurasian Research Institute, and postdoctoral student at the Nazarbayev University School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Asiya Ermukhambetova and other youth representatives from the academic and civil sectors.

The panellists presented different points of view on the country's development agenda. Questions of political, economic and social reforms were touched upon.
