On June 11, 2021 an international round table on the topic «Historical Miracle of China» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the CPC of the PRC was held online. The event was organized by the Embassy of the PRC in the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the republican economic newspaper «Delovoy Kazakhstan». The round table was moderated by a well-known expert on China, Anton Bugaenko. The event was also attended by prominent sinologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation as well as representatives of the scientific community and the PRC media.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Zhang Xiao made a welcoming speech and focused the attention of the participants on the achievements and successes of the PRC under the leadership of the CPC.
The invited speakers at the event were Bolat Nurgaliyev, chairman of the board of the «Foreign Policy Research Institute» JSC under the MFA of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Timur Shaimergenov, deputy director of the Library of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy; Yuri Tavrovsky, orientalist, professor at RUDN University, member of the Presidium of the Eurasian academy of television and radio; Svetlana Kozhirova, professor, candidate of historical sciences, doctor of political sciences; head of the Center for chinese and asian studies of the International science complex Astana.
The organizers of the event who made a speech were Wang Yue, assistant director of the Institute of foreign languages of the Beijing university of aronautics and astronautics, a well-known Chinese translator; Jian Shan, head of international relations office, China Intercontinental Press; Li Yanling, head of international relations office, Social Sciences Academic Press; Ding Ning, representative of the international cooperation office, New Star Press; Tao Xing, Correspondent, Beijing Review, China International Publishing Group.
On behalf of KazISS the head of the KazISS Representative Office in Almaty Asel Aben took part in the round table and made a report «The Chinese way of «green» development».
