On December 27, 2019 at the Kazakhstan institute for strategic studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the conference hall «Rukhani zhangyru» there was a presentation of the book by the famous scientist-economist Vyacheslav Yuryevich Dodonov.
Vyacheslav Yuryevich Dodonov, chief research fellow of the KazISS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of economic sciences – a well-known scientist and economist. The book «Qazaqstannyń halyqaralyq investitsiialyq yntymaqtastyǵy: úrdister, faktorlar, perspektivalar» is the first edition in the Kazakh language of the author's long-term research.
Presentation of the book was held in the framework of realization of Strategic plan of development of Kazakhstan until 2025, the President's address K. K. Tokaev to the people of Kazakhstan "Constructive public dialogue – the Foundation of stability and prosperity of Kazakhstan". The book reflects the main directions of development of international investment cooperation in Kazakhstan, identifies the key problems of attracting and using investment prospects in the country.
During the presentation, the Director of the Kazakhstan Institute for strategic studies Zarema Shaukenova emphasized that the book of the famous scientist-economist Dodonov V. Y. is published for the first time by KazISS in the state language. Publishing monographs of scientists in the Kazakh language is a priority activity of the Institute. Earlier, the book "Alemdik orientalistikadagi Kazakhstan" was published in the state language by Laumulin Murat Turarovich, chief research fellow of the KazISS under the President of Kazakhstan, doctor of political sciences, professor–a famous scientist-political scientist.
The head of KazISS thanked the author for the work done. Special appreciation was expressed to the reviewers-doctor of economic sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azimkhan Aubakirovich Satybaldin, doctor of economic sciences, associate professor, chief research fellow, heas of the Department of regional economy and innovative development of the Institute of Economics of the KN MES RK Farida Gazizovna Alzhanova, doctor of economic sciences, professor of the Higher school of economics and business of the al-Farabi Kazakh national University Zhanar Yakhyevna Aubakirova, PhD doctor, associate professor of the Department of Economics of the Higher school of Economics and business of the Kazakh national University named after al-Farabi Assem Yermekovna Kaliyeva.
Before the audience, the author of the book «Qazaqstannyń halyqaralyq investitsiialyq yntymaqtastyǵy: úrdister, faktorlar, perspektivalar» V. Dodonov made a speech, after which the ribbon, binding the stacks of books, was cut in a solemn atmosphere.
Doctor of economic sciences, professor, honored professor of MSU, Director of the Kazakhstan branch of MSU Alexander Vladimirovich Sidorovich, Head of the Department of ANC ENU after L.N. Gumilyov Bashmakov Anatoly Afanasievich, Director of the Center for socio-economic research-branch of the RSE "Institute of Economics" of the KN MES RK in Nur-Sultan Shymshykov Zhangeldy Erdenovich shared their impressions about the book.
The event was attended by authoritative scientists, economists, representatives of Central government agencies, the academic community, well-known public and political figures, and journalists. Among them, the Chairman of the investment Committee of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Rustam Maratovich Issatayev, Vice-rector of state management Academy under RK President Kosherbayeva Aigul Bedelbaevna, Director of the Research Institute "Public opinion" Rakisheva Botagoz Islamovna, head of the Center for the study of interethnic and interfaith relations in the Central Asian region of the ASU under the President of Kazakhstan Aigul Sadvokasova Kakimbekovna, candidates of economic Sciences Zhubaev Saparbay Doszhanuly and Marat Kairlenov, etc.
